Amazon Prime Gaming has completed a name change and is now Amazon Luna. Amazon Prime subscribers can download and play free Luna games from the Amazon Games app. There are two new titles from their platform, and they are compatible with PC only.

Halloween may be past, but you can continue to have spooky fun with games! “Halloween Stories: Horror Movie” is a single-player, point-and-click, hidden-object game. You’ve followed your friends who were pulled into a dangerous world where classic monsters and slasher movies are real. (Available through Dec 31, 2025)

Once you link your Amazon Luna and Epic Games Store accounts, claiming this game is so easy. This one is compatible with PC. There is one title available from the Epic Games Store this month.

If you’ve never heard of “Vampire: The Masquerade,” you’ve been missing out. The franchise encompasses tabletop RPGs, video games, and even a live-action role-playing game. This visual novel RPG, third in a series, takes you to modern-day New York City and drops you into the complicated politics of the Kindred. This one is unrated, but I would recommend that any parents preview the game before letting younger kids play. There tend to be some adult themes when vampires are involved. (Available through Nov 12, 2025)

Legacy Games Freebie

Legacy Games titles require their own game launcher. Claiming the games is simple. You’ll just need to enter your email address and the game code on the claim page. Follow the instructions on the claim page.

In this point-and-click hidden objects adventure, you’re working in a detective agency. You’ll be solving puzzles to find missing objects and solve crimes. It’s unrated, but this type of game tends to be very casual. Relax and have fun! (Available through Nov 26, 2025)

Six Games from GoG

The six remaining free games for Amazon Prime subscribers are all from GOG.com, and although most are PC-only, one title is also available for Mac. To claim these games, you’ll grab the claim code and enter it in the GoG app on your computer.

From monsters, we move on to aliens. “XCOM 2” is the sequel to “XCOM: Enemy Unknown” and was released in 2016. This single-player turn-based strategy game has a Teen rating. You’ll be able to decide where your strike team goes, gain the support of five types of soldiers which each have their own skill trees, build and upgrade your mobile headquarters and equipment, and face new alien enemies. It’s all in defense of the Earth versus the aliens who have taken over. (Available through Jan 7, 2026)

The next two games are available for both PC and Mac. These are the first two parts of a trilogy of psychological thrillers that include cinematics, puzzles, and hidden object scenes. You can choose to play without the hidden object scenes, though. These games are rated Teen and were released in 2016 and 2018.

A team of volunteers has been sent to a secret facility on a Japanese island. It was abandoned decades ago, after an accident. But something is terribly wrong there. Each level is randomly generated when you enter it or when you die and start again as another volunteer. It’s a top-down roguelite survival horror with puzzles, monsters, and the logs and documents of the people who worked there in the 1950s. (Available through Dec 17, 2025)
