New Update For Hollow Knight Silksong After 1 Week of Release – Team Cherry’s Response to Overwhelming Amount of Complaints

Hollow Knight Silksong has had a majorly successful release so far within the few days it has been out. With over 535,000 concurrent players on Steam, it’s been named one of the most extravagant launches in Steam history. However, now that players have had a chance to experience the game in all its glory, and the high has come down for us gamers, people have expressed some reservations, specifically with the difficulty of the game. In response, Team Cherry will release its first patch post-release, nerfing the early game bosses to appease the masses. Here’s all we know about the future update.

Hollow Knight Silksong Will Nerf Early Game Bosses in First Update

Now that Hollow Knight Silksong has come out, people are loving the game, from its beautiful visuals to the spectacular score that highlights immersion for players. After experiencing the game, I can definitely say that the game is freaking hard. Specifically, Moorewing, the giant moth, and Sister Splinter, bosses you encounter pretty early in the game. I can’t even explain the rage I felt fighting these bosses, and the eventual rage-quitting I did after my 10th attempt at fighting them.

Call it skill issue or whatever, but there are a few people who agree with me that the game is kind of freaking difficult. Team Cherry has heard the complaints and feedback, and is releasing its first patch post-release, nerfing not only these bosses, but also the Sandcarvers, mobs that hide in the sand and attack once you’ve gotten close enough to them. There will be other changes that will make gameplay easier for gamers who’ve been struggling throughout the story, but this is pretty significant. Enough gamers have been experiencing this issue that Team Cherry decided to release a patch a week after launch.

My Thoughts and Player’s Response to the Future Update

As a player of the game, I can definitely say I do appreciate the upcoming patch for Silksong. I honestly don’t mind that the game was this hard at first, either. It was an immense challenge that, even through the rage I felt, I somewhat enjoyed, even though I failed a lot. And this is a prime example of developers listening to player feedback and improving their games for players. I still enjoyed the hell out of Hollow Knight Silksong. It’s definitely my top 10 games of this year, and I hope players can also appreciate the game and the developers for this future update.
