PlayStation Plus November 2025: This Month’s Free Games Revealed for PS5 and PS4

Another month, another dump of games onto the PlayStation Plus service. Sony has finally pulled back the curtain on November’s lineup, and it’s a weird, wonderful, and slightly confusing mix of blockbusters, indie darlings, and games that make you go, “Huh, neat.” Whether you’re a fan of sprawling open worlds, heart-pounding horror, or… whatever Thank Goodness You’re Here! is, there’s something here to clog your hard drive. Let’s dive in and see what’s worth your time.

Rockstar’s Heavy Hitters are Back… Again

Just when you thought you’d escaped Los Santos, Sony pulls you back in. Grand Theft Auto V is making yet another triumphant return to PlayStation Plus. If you’re one of the three people on Earth who still don’t own this game, now’s your chance to experience the chaotic lives of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. It’s a masterpiece, sure, but its reappearance on the service feels like that one relative who always shows up to the party uninvited but brings a great dip.

Joining it is the original Red Dead Redemption. No, not the sequel everyone is still obsessed with, but the classic that started it all. Follow John Marston’s grim journey to hunt down his old gang and atone for his past. It’s a phenomenal game that holds up remarkably well, though it’s a bit funny to get it after everyone has already poured hundreds of hours into its prequel. Better late than never, I guess.

Get Ready for Some Unique Thrills

If you’re tired of Rockstar’s world, how about a first-person survival game where your only friend is a beat-up station wagon? Pacific Drive straps you into the driver’s seat for a “road-lite” adventure through the surreal and creepy Olympic Exclusion Zone. Your car is your lifeline, and you’ll be scavenging for parts, dodging bizarre anomalies, and trying not to get vaporized. It’s weird, it’s tense, and it’s one of the most original games of the year.

For those who prefer their horror on a floating metal deathtrap, Still Wakes the Deep has you covered. From the creators of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, this narrative horror game traps you on an oil rig in the middle of a raging storm. Oh, and there’s an “unknowable horror” on board. Comms are down, corridors are flooding, and something is hunting you. Sounds like a perfectly relaxing evening.

A Buffet of Eclectic Indies and Puzzlers

Ready for something completely different? Thank Goodness You’re Here! is a “comedy slapformer” set in a bizarre Northern English town. As a salesman who arrives early for a meeting, you’ll perform increasingly absurd jobs for the locals. With its hand-drawn animation and quirky humor, it looks like an absolute fever dream in the best way possible.

If you’d rather exercise your brain, The Talos Principle 2 offers a thought-provoking puzzle experience. Set in a world where humanity is extinct and robots carry on our culture, you’ll solve mind-bending challenges in a mysterious megastructure. It’s a game that makes you feel incredibly smart right before it makes you feel incredibly dumb.

And let’s not forget Insurgency: Sandstorm, a tactical shooter where every bullet counts and death comes swiftly. It’s the polar opposite of your typical run-and-gun arcade shooter, demanding careful teamwork and resource management. If you’ve been looking for a shooter that will truly punish your mistakes, this is it.

All these titles, plus a few more, will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting November 18. So, clear some space on your console and get ready to download.
