Resident Evil fans may yet have another thing to celebrate, as the rumor mill is going crazy with new games that may show up on Nintendo Direct. Resident Evil is rumored to be one of those games, and it’s only a matter of time before Nintendo Direct, which is supposedly coming later on this week. Here are all the juicy details and all that gamers have been saying.

Resident Evil on Switch 2?

The rumor mills have been swirling, and many people are speculating that Resident Evil 7 will join a lineup of games announced on Nintendo Direct and made available on Switch 2. According to Stealth on X, Nintendo Direct is rumored to drop on September 12, which will announce the newest updates for Nintendo and games that will become available for the Switch. These rumors have made gamers quite sure that Resident Evil 7 will become available on the upcoming Switch 2 once it releases.

Nintendo Direct Coming This Week Maybe?

There have been no official announcements on when Nintendo Direct will come; however, besides last year, Nintendo Direct has always happened in September. Stealth has reported on X that Nintendo has dropped hints on the date it will happen, so the assumption has been made that Nintendo Direct will happen on September 12, later this week. If the rumors are true, Resident Evil 7 will be the first game in the series to be released on the Switch 2 when that also releases.
