If you’re like me, anything Super Mario Bros brings a wave of childhood nostalgia. When Nintendo started making the Super Mario Party series on GameCube, I was excited to be able to play as any member of the franchise. With new games to play and new terrain to explore, there were endless possibilities and many hours spent playing.
The Super Mario Party Keeps on Going

The Super Mario franchise is always working and promoting the next great game. This is why so many people are disappointed in this new version available on Nintendo Switch. The most common complaints are how slow the game progresses when playing against the computer and the limited amount of games to play.
If Nintendo would increase the amount of board games available to play, more possibilities for existing games with a modern twist would encompass past and future gaming for a wholesome experience. At this point, adding games from previously available gaming consoles that had the highest rating feedback may help boost playtime. Many players state that the repetition of the same games within a board is lacking and uninteresting after a short amount of time.
The only other concern is how the computer player has so much time to play as though they are the main player. People have stated they need a backup source of entertainment while playing so they don’t feel so bored. If Nintendo wanted to speed up the computer player or allow the player to play as multiple players, I believe that would make it a lot more interesting and fun to play.

For the most part, Nintendo games bring the best from the past while building new adventures for the future. I believe this is why so many people are disheartened by this newest version of the Switch. With these two changes, this game would be a cherished addition to the Super Mario Bros franchise.
Super Mario Party is one of the longest-running franchises in gaming. It has been around for a very long time and has evolved over the years. It’s a staple of many gamers’ libraries since it is the epitome of fun, multiplayer gaming. Nintendo has a lot of options they can do within that, and the future is bright even if it seems like they’ve shifted their focus elsewhere.
What the gaming company did with the most recent edition, Mario Party Superstars, could be the move for the near future. They remastered several old maps and compiled the top minigames from all old eras of the franchise into one. They could do DLC for it with more maps and minigames or release a second game of the same nature while they wait for the Switch 2.
