The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller has been officially revealed. One of the most talked about mechanics of the Switch series that many gamers have talked about (good, bad, or indifferent) over the years is the controllers. While the standard joy cons started as great, over time, many users have fallen victim to the drift problems and easy breaks through consistent use. Being able to play the Switch anywhere, like in bed, on your couch, at your local cafe, or over your friends and families’ houses, is an amazing feeling to experience.

Nonetheless, those issues seem to have been remedied with the new magnetic connection of the controllers. However, what about your controller when you are at home playing on your TV? What will be new in that area? Well, Nintendo is releasing a new Pro Controller standard to the console now! Here are some of the new features you can look forward to.
New Microphone
This is going to be a game changer for those who play with their friends and family while using the new game chat and game cam features! Instead of having to buy a new microphone (which thankfully is not the case), the microphone is built into the controller! With the capability of being able to capture your voice even with a little surrounding background noise,
New Audio Jack
While many enjoy being able to play the game with just the standard output of audio, we will now be able to plug in headphones through the controller! For gamers, this opens up a whole new world of possibilities. For those who do not have gaming headphones, be prepared to purchase yourself a new set of gaming headphones for a more in-depth sound experience during your gaming prowess.
The new C-button is comfortably placed on the bottom face of the controller. This new button is going to launch. This will give gamers quick and easy access to the new game chat feature. Instead of having to go through menu settings to get it set up, all we will need is this one button, and we are on to the races!
Two Back Buttons
These buttons will be customizable at your discretion for your specific accessibility wants and desires. The GL and GR buttons are crucial to games that you may need to access energy, potions, or items to survive quickly.
What are your thoughts about the new Switch 2 Pro Controller? Do you already have in mind what design/version you want to add to your collection? How are you going to set up your GL/GR buttons?
