The Overwatch Champions Series Clash is just over a week away, and the hype is beginning to build. The event will be in Hangzhou, China. It is the first Overwatch event in China since the COVID-19 pandemic. Eight teams will play in a double-elimination bracket to determine who is the best Overwatch team in the world. The Clash will also see Chinese teams participate in pro-Overwatch action for the first time since the closing of the Overwatch League.

Format and Schedule
The eight teams participating in the Overwatch Champions Series Champions Clash will play in a double-elimination bracket. The matches will take place over three days, beginning on Friday, April 18th, and ending on Sunday, April 20th. The first match starts at 1 pm China Standard Time (6 am CET, 10 pm PST). The first round of matches is first to two, while the other matches, excluding the Grand Finals, are first to three. The Grand Final will be first to four. All matches will utilize the Hero Ban system.
The first round of matches is as follows:
- Team Falcons versus Al Qadsiah
- Virtus.pro Versus Once Again
- NTMR Versus Team CC
- Crazy Raccoon Versus Spacestation Gaming
The winners of their matches will progress to the second day of matches, while the losers will have to battle it out to make it through to the next day.
Talent
The talent for the Champions Clash will see many faces that viewers will recognize, with one less notable one in the Overwatch 2 scene in Ash Casts. She has been casting Pro-Valorant for the past four years, so seeing how she does at the event will be exciting. Notable returnees are Soembie, Reinforce, Jaws, Jake, and more.
