The Pokemon Center announced today at Pokemon Direct new events coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. As a celebration for Pokemon Day, 3 new crystal raids will be dropping along with some smaller events but a welcomed goodie.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Crystal Raids
In celebration of Pokemon Day, Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval will be starting Thursday, February 27th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Thursday, March 20th, 2025, 4:59 p.m. PDT. This will be a challenge as these three will be coming with the Mightiest Mark to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Coming with the Mightiest Mark they will be in 7-star terra raids. Being part of that and calling it a challenge will make it seem easier than it is. 7-star Raids are the strongest there is. They require your best strategies and best teamwork to get through it.
Here are the specific times for each starter:
- Grass-Tera Type Meowscarada – Thursday, February 27, 2025, 4:00 p.m. PST to Thursday, March 6, 2025, 3:59 p.m. PST
- Fire-Tera Type Skeledirge – Thursday, March 6, 2025, 4:00 p.m. PST to Thursday, March 13, 2025, 4:59 p.m. PDT
- Water-Tera Type Quaquaval – Thursday, March 13, 2025, 5:00 p.m. PDT to Thursday, March 20, 2025, 4:59 p.m. PDT
They will be retaining their basic type for their Terra transformation. While it can be easier that way, don’t expect them to go down easy. They will have moves and their hidden abilities. They will be a force to be reckoned with.
Mass Outbreak
To continue the goodies, The Pokemon Company also announced that they will be releasing mass outbreaks for Poliwag, Scyther, Lapras, Porygon, Sweaddle, Applin, Smoliv, Charcadet, and Finizen. They will start Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. They will have a higher chance of having shinies appear. If you are new to the Outbreaks, it is where Pokemon will be appearing in mass groups and continuing spawning for a few waves. These are the locations where the Pokemon will be spawning for the event:
- Paldea: Charcadet, Smoliv, and Finizen
- Kitakami: Appin, Sewaddle, and Poliwag
- Blueberry Academy: Porygon, Scyther, and Lapras.
