Genshin Impact 6.3 Leaks – By Earth and Moon
Going into 6.3, all I feel is rage. After the relative tranquility of Acts 5 and 6 is shattered by the dastardly Dottore, all I, and many other fans, can feel is rage. While his plan was impressive and his execution nearly flawless, his audacity has done little to endear him to the fandom. I, personally, will take great pleasure in beating him to a pulp in 6.3
About Genshin Impact Leaks
All leaks are subject to change. As such, a full, in-depth, definitive analysis of a character, weapon, artifact, or event would be ill-advised at this time. To that end, I’ll be covering the base level premise of each character so that you can make a moderately informed decision on which character(s) you want to prepare for.
Characters

Version 6.3 will bless players with 3 new characters.
Columbina: An Archon in Spirit
Our favorite moon goddess is a 5-Star Hydro Catalyst character who deals damage through Lunar Reactions. As of right now, she functions more as an Archon than a Harbinger, so she’s better played Off-Field. Her damage, at least at the time of writing, seems to be more quantity-based than quality (death by a thousand cuts, as opposed to a nuke). She scales off HP, but her best Artifact set isn’t out yet.
Her Nod Krai regional material and Weekly Boss aren’t out yet. However, she uses slime condensates, and her overworld boss is the Frostnight Herra, so you can start gathering those now. As for her Talents, Columbina uses the Moonlight books.
Zibai: A New Face for A New Year
This year’s Lantern Rite character, Zibai, is a 5-Star Geo Sword-user. Since her Skill is infusion-based, it would be safe to assume that she is a Main DPS character. She also, for some reason, has a Moon Wheel and can trigger Lunar-Crystallize reactions (new reaction coming in 6.3). She scales off DEF.
If you are looking to start farming for Zibai, her Talent is Gold, her regional specialty is Glaze Lily, her monster drop is the Frost-Etched Warrant series, and her Weekly Boss drop is the Queen from the Chess boss. Her overworld boss comes out in 6.3.
Illuga: Lighting the Way Forward
The 4-Star Lunar-Crystallize character we were sure to get, Illuga, is a Geo Polearm-user. He scales off DEF and EM. No information as to whether or not he’ll be given out for free.
He uses the drops from the Landcruisers to level up, his Talent book is Elysium, his overworld boss is the new Super-Heavy Landrover: Mechanized Fortress, and his Weekly Boss is the Corrupted Dragon (Eroded Horn). His regional specialty comes out next patch.
Weapons
2 new weapons will be added in this Version.
Nocturne’s Curtain Call
Columbina’s personal weapon. It gives bonus HP, Energy Recharge, and Lunar Reaction CRIT DMG.
Lightbearing Moonshard
The sword that pairs best with Zibai. Gives DEF, CRIT DMG, and increases Lunar-Crystallize DMG.
Artifacts
We are also getting 2 new Artifact sets this patch as well.
Aubade of Morningstar and Moon
Columbina’s BiS, though not by too much. Increases her damage when she’s played Off-Field.
Wherever a Breeze Blows
ATK increasing Artifact set. Perfect for Durin. Why Hoyo is choosing to release it the patch after he drops, I don’t know.
Event Overview

First things first, a new Lunar Reaction is coming: Lunar-Crystallize. As of now, triggering it will create 3 Geo Constructs that interact with other Constructs as normal (e.g., Zhongli’s pillar will cause them to resonate, and Chiori will summon a second puppet).
The Flag Ship event will, of course, be the Lantern Rite event for this version. Full details are yet to be released, but there will be 4 “themes” involved (which probably means 4 mini-games).
There are 3 other events of note coming in 6.3. Nighttime Patrol Exercise (wargame simulations) and The Lament of the Cliff-Shadowed Hollow (combat) are both in Nod Krai, while Shutterflash Memory Hunt is a photography event that seems to span multiple regions.
And, finally, new bosses will make their debut. The first is an Overworld boss, whose drops are used by Zibai. The second is a weekly boss. And, for those looking to sate their bloodlust, yes, the boss will be Dottore. That said, it looks like, at least for now, that he might be a bit tricky to deal with.
