Sims 4: Disastrous Bugs In The Lovestruck Expansion Pack

A free Sims 4 update is driving Simmers crazy, but not in a good way. The $40 Lovestruck Expansion Pack revolves around the themes of romance and the nuances of relationships. It is a highly anticipated expansion pack, but it was too good to be true, for the moment. The expansion pack has in-game bugs to get your blood boiling, but you can still have hope along with millions of users that you can get back to a smooth-running update.

What’s Special About The Lovestruck Expansion Pack?

The Lovestruck Expansion Pack enables users of the social simulation game to define the conditions under which your Sims are jealous, hide your relationship panel from non-members of your household, experiment with gender-neutral relationship titles, as well as experiment with eyelashes, hairstyles, and additional nail styles in CAS (Create-A-Sim) options. The live game updates include a “safe for streaming” toggle, new neighborhood stories, a conversation panel, and more. How many players play the Sims series to have friendships without romantic relationships? The answer is likely zero. That is a good thing. It means that we still have things in common.

The Bright Side About The Glitches?

After the July 23 update, gamers experienced the inability to bring up the pause menu and worse to save their progress. How can anything get worse? Pools can now be crafted into heart-shaped swimming spots. Some users were daring enough to craft a swimming pool into the shape of genitals. At least the new update allows users to create round-shaped swimming pools, instead of sticking to the regular square-shaped swimming pools.

As for the bright side of the story, you can expect there to be an update for the Lovestruck Expansion. Some users were capable of saving their in-game progress while others saw the new edition of black eyelashes floating on-screen in first-person mode. There were issues with Sims performing various actions, cursors disappearing on console users, visual glitches, and more. These should be fixed.

The Flaws Of Lovestruck Expansion Pack

What is not special about the Lovestruck Expansion Pack? There are in-game bugs that’ll make your hourlong achievements seem pointless. Are you willing to construct your own house again, create a family tree again, create the perfect couple, as well as invest in a dream job again, and celebrate your riches again? That’s basically what you do if you play the Sims series.

If you are incapable of saving your progress for any troubleshooting reason while playing Sims 4 in general, it may affect your whole day. If you are unable to load any old saves or access CAS, the next time you play Sims 4, you may find yourself trying to save the game every 5 minutes. Maybe the electricity went out as to why you are upset. You are in for quite an experience playing the Lovestruck Expansion, if you manage to before EA fixes the player-requested glitches.

Dating In Live Mode

In Live mode, if a Sim has a spouse, they lack the desire to flirt with Sims that are not theirs. Sims in a relationship cannot receive unsolicited flirtations from others. Only if they have the Noncommittal Trait, they can. A notification will be given on why a sim is turned down if a sim gets rejected on a date. There is the option to Ask on A Date” without having a romantic interest, though rejection is possible. Also, you will be unable to skinny dip in pools if no other Sims are nearby, and if a Sim is eating a meal, they will finish it before partaking in fun activities.
