All Amazing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Lightsaber Colors

Jedi Survivor lightsaber colors

Respawn, the creators of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, where countless stormtroopers get cut down by your lightsaber, have not only met but exceeded our expectations with the sequel. In this next installment, we’re not just playing in the Star Wars universe; we’re shaping it. What is the most exciting part? In Star Wars Jedi Survivor, we get to choose the color of our lightsaber from the start, a feature that was not available in the previous game.

In Fallen Order, the hunt for different kyber crystals to change your lightsaber color was a thrilling but linear experience. In Jedi Survivor, the game takes a different approach. You’re not bound by the storyline to find them and you’re not just fighting countless enemies for a chance to get them. You have the freedom to explore, to fight, and to survive with them.

The color of a lightsaber in the Star Wars universe is more than just a visual choice. It’s a reflection of the Jedi’s connection to the Force. In Jedi Survivor, you have the power to choose from 11 different colors, with the option to unlock two more in the Game Plus. Each color represents a unique aspect of the Force, adding a deeper layer to your gameplay experience.

The crystal is, by itself, the power source of the weapon. Like the Force user, the crystal is attuned to the Force. Without that attunement, the crystal is just a rock. And while a non-Force user could probably ignite and wield a lightsaber, the crystal is needed to be properly attuned to the Force. But for a Jedi, the lightsaber becomes more: it is a manifestation of a Jedi’s connection to the Force.“-Jaden Korr.

Lightsabers are unique to each force user

Jedi Survivor gives you the option to choose from blue, cyan, green, magenta, orange, purple, white, yellow, red, and party rainbow. Before a Jedi was to use his lightsaber, he would meditate, imbuing the crystal he would use in their lightsaber with force.

Blue first came in A New Hope and was used by Jedi Guardians with a focus skilled in the Force. Next, we have Cyan, which is not shown in the movies. Green was used by Qui-Gon, Yoda, Luke Sabin, and more and is used by Jedi Consulars, deep thinkers, and philosophers.

Magenta is another color not seen in the Star Wars movies. Orange was shown in the Ahsoka series and isn’t associated with the Jedi or the Sith but represents balance. Then came Purple from Attack of the Clones, first wheeled by Mace Windu, also representing balance.

The purified Kyber crystal is white and is also balanced from Ahsoka in Star Wars Rebels. Jedi Sentinels wheeled yellow lightsabers and were used by Rey, Jedi Temple Guards, and Asajj Ventress.

Then came red, which was used by everything evil that could pick up a lightsaber. Red lightsabers mean power, and if Darth Maul ever dropped his double-bladed one, that sucker would be gone.

The last is the rainbow, which also doesn’t appear anywhere else in the Star Wars universe. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t a valuable option to make your lightsaber any less yours. That is kind of the point. No matter what it is, it’s yours.

Make your lightsaber yours

It’s unique to you and for all Jedi and Sith; wielding them makes you a part of some of the most iconic scenes in the Star Wars series. There might not be a more iconic image that is associated with Star Wars than the lightsaber. Just seeing one meant so many things, depending on where it was.

Whatever you choose in Jedi Survive, make it yours, and enjoy being a Jedi fighting against the Empire.
