Roleplay Games have been around for many years, with many more games planned to be released in the near future. Many gaming companies have released their own Roleplay Games over the years. Most games are played on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, however, which Roleplay Games are best to play on a PC?
3) Roleplay Game: Cyberpunk2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. The video game is based on Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk tabletop game series. The plot is set in the fictional Night City, California, within the Cyberpunk universe.
The player assumes the role of V, a mercenary who accidentally gets imbued with a cybernetic chip containing the memory of the legendary rockstar and terrorist Johnny Silverhand. As V’s behavior and memories starts to be getting overwritten by Johnny, the two must work together to separate from each other and save V’s life.
The gameplay is divided by three primary play styles, they are Netrunner, Techie, and Solo. V has a vast array of maneuvers to reposition during combat, including sprinting, taking cover, double-jumping, and sliding. Many of these abilities can be unlocked or upgraded through cyberware implants installed by a “ripperdoc”.
2) Roleplay Game: Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy is a 2023 action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games under its Portkey Games label. The game is part of the Wizarding World franchise, taking place before the events in the Harry Potter novels.
The player controls a student enrolled in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who will learn to wield an array of magical abilities and objects. Accepting the assistance of fellow students as well as professors, the player embarks on a journey to unearth an ancient secret concealed within the wizarding world.
As the player progresses through the game, their character learns to cast spells, brew potions, and master combat abilities, eventually developing his/her own special combat style. Through in-game challenges, the player can earn experience points to gain levels, which then allows you to access and upgrade different spells, talents, and abilities.
1) Roleplay Game: AVATAR: Frontiers of Pandora
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a 2023 action-adventure roleplay game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. Part of the Avatar franchise, the game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on December 7, 2023.
Players take control of a Na’vi orphan raised and trained as a soldier by the Resources Development Administration (RDA). During an unexpected battle, the character is put into a cryo pod and wakes up sixteen years later in an abandoned facility. The player must embark on a journey across the Western Frontier.
In a never-before-seen region of Pandora, the character must discover their origins and organize the local Na’vi tribes to fight back against the RDA as they attempt to save Pandora.
