The deadliest cybernetic assassin, The Terminator, has come to Black Ops Warzone. That’s right; the deadliest advanced killing machine cyborg has been sent back in time to the newest season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The Black Ops 6 Warzone seasons always bring a new challenge, as newcomers and season veterans pit their wills against metal. Most will discover that the Terminators are made of a solid metal endoskeleton made of a dense alloy armor coating built to crush the souls and wills of the best gamers. However, the rewards of seasonal content will lead most to their deaths.
The Terminator Answers The Call Of Duty
Fortunately, The Terminator isn’t the only thing that has come to Season 2. Several cosmetic items come with it for gamers to earn. Some rewards are free, while others can be claimed by turning in skulls earned in-game. 13 rewards are free, and 14 other rewards require Skulls to earn.
Getting the skulls is the difficult part. For veterans of Call of Duty, skulls can be secured by eliminations in Multiplayer or Zombies mode. They are dropped from eliminations and collected. If Warzone is more to your taste, skulls can be collected and found in various Supply Caches.
New Rewards
When you have earned enough Skulls, they can turn them in The Terminator section in the Events tab located in the main menu. Once players have unlocked all the free rewards, they get the Judgment PP-919 SMG Blueprint as well as the War Machine Scorestreak. It is easier read than done as several of the Skull rewards can be purchased with 5 Skulls while others cost as much as 50.
This Terminator-themed event is perfectly timed to last over the season of love, Valentine’s Day, and will run through February 20th. Despite the chance to earn some in-game items courtesy of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s best killing machine likeness, several players have expressed their displeasure. These gamers have stated that the event is locking them into repetitiveness, and the rewards are overpriced.
Some Aren’t Happy
Before The Terminator came and changed everything, Call Of Duty had a deal with Activision and Netflix that brought the Squid Game event. Patterned after the hit series brought new modes to Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, as well as rewards. Several rewards could be earned freely, but the rest had to be earned through the event pass. Having to pay for another event pass turned games the wrong way.
Several fans do not like past events, but they do now, leading to some stating their dislike of the Terminator events as dull, repetitive, and plain unhappy to gain some rewards by purchasing. The Squid Game event game pass costs 1,100 Call of Duty Points, while The Terminator bundle can cost fans 3,000 points. Other bundles in the past averaged 2,000 to 2,800 points, and the increase is what is making fans unhappy.
