Another area of growth can be seen in the widespread integration of virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) which improves the gaming experience, making it more immersive.

Looking at esports from a global perspective, the Asia Pacific region leads the market, due to its large and young population, high internet penetration rates and strong cultural affinity for gaming.
