Warframe is a free online RPG that is constantly evolving, especially with the inclusion of new buffs like the Wrathful Advance. It can be confusing how it works and many players can overlook its nuances. After some modding, this buff can significantly increase a player’s chances for critical hits. This buff can really help in tight situations and getting the upper hand during battle. It can be used with the Kullervo frame and it is basically a teleporting attack that can dish out massive damage. Of course, the first thing players must do is unlock the Kullervo frame, which can be a bit of a gauntlet.
Where To Find The Wrathful Advance
To get Kullervo, players will need to collect a sum total of 42 Kullervo’s Banes. To find them, they must complete the Spiral that is located in Duviri. To successfully get through the Spiral, the boss Orowyrm must be slain. Defeating it is not too difficult if players keep their cool and focus on their patterns. These are one of those boss fights in Warframe that require a certain amount of patience to get through. Take note that players don’t need to commit to just the Kullervo frame to use Wrathful Advance. Helminth can help use it on other frames after subsuming Kullervo.
How To Use The Wrathful Advance
So, in order to use the Wrathful Advance, players will need to hold down the ‘Heavy Attack’ button for approximately 2 seconds. During the charge-up period, the player will generate hyper armor and will be invulnerable before the attack. The teleportation distance is anywhere between 20 to 25 meters. It doesn’t matter what weapon is currently equipped. Because, once the player teleports, they will use their melee weapon by default. Another nifty trick is that all the maneuver skills will be refreshed after teleporting. Which is always a welcomed addition to Warframe, especially when playing online.
In the wake of the teleportation, all additional attacks will stack up anywhere between 50% to 200% in critical damage. This can last anywhere between 7 to 10 seconds. So, the Wrathful Advance can pulverize a room full of enemies in a matter of seconds. Not to mention it can be quite handy with crowd control. Thus, modded melee weapons can also stack on the stats of this buff. If a weapon has a critical hit chance of 15%, then the last hit after teleportation can add up to 215%, for example. On top of that, the heavy attack efficiency is beefed up to 75%. This is a little passive bonus that comes with Wrathful Advance, which always comes in handy for RPG games.
The Slash and Dash
The teleportation cursor will lock onto the nearest enemy. Listen to an audible clue signifying that it is ready to go. Simply holding down the attack button and moving the cursor around will shift the target for teleportation. The Wrathful Advance can be absurdly powerful with the right mods equipped. For a free-to-play game, Warframe is rich with varying builds to try out. It is recommended to at least give the Wrathful Advance a try to see how a current build can evolve. It doesn’t hurt to try something new, especially if a current build is getting a tad stale and things need to be freshened up a bit.
