Be immersed in gaming with the newest Legend of Zelda earbuds. Nintendo has teamed up with OTL Technologies to bring gamers true wireless earbuds based on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom. Currently, it does look like the earbuds are only available in the UK and Ireland which makes sense as OTL Technologies is Europe’s leading consumer audio design and manufacturer. They specialize in earbuds, headphones, power banks, and walkie-talkies.
A True Wireless Experience
Nintendo is advertising these earbuds as a True Wireless Sound experience. The lightweight earbuds feature 5.0 Bluetooth technology providing a smooth audio experience for gamers and up to six hours of battery life. The earbuds also feature Smart Touch Control allowing users to simply tap the earbuds to skip/play/pause, answer/reject phone calls, or activate the voice assistant. Included with the earbuds are the charging case, a USB C charging cable, and 2 extra pairs of silicone ear tips.
Designs
There are currently three variants of the earbuds: black, green, and white. Each variant gives a special nod to the color scheme we see in Tears of the Kingdom and has a special design on both the earbuds and charging case. The green and white variants have The Legend of Zelda Tears of The Kingdom design on the charging case with the Hyrule Triforce Crest on the back of both earbuds. These two variants also have gold silicone ear tips that come in 2 pairs with each item.
The black variant features the Hyrule Triforce Crest on the charging case with the letter Z on the back of both earbuds. This variant has plain black ear tips making the gold crest and Z pop. This variant isn’t based on the Tears of The Kingdom but pays homage to The Legend of Zelda itself. It is a very sleek and simple design, and still offers the same features as the green and white earbuds.
Other Titles
While we are focusing on the beautiful Zelda earbuds, it is important to note that OTL has also designed earbuds that feature characters and looks from other iconic games and brands like Minecraft, Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Super Mario, Harry Potter, and many more. It is likely that they will continue to introduce themed earbuds for a range of games as these have proven to be quite popular.
Where to Buy
All three earbuds are priced at £34.99 / €39.99. It is important to note that the Green variant does appear to be sold out at the time of writing this. However, the black and white variants are both still available. While it does appear that these are only being offered in the UK and Ireland, we will be keeping a close eye on Nintendo’s socials in hopes that these earbuds become available everywhere.
