Madden 25 was just released recently and has had massive success in sales so far, with plenty of changes made from Madden 24 some might not have been the best idea. While personally, I believe this to be one of the best Madden installments in the last decade, the new slick scoreboard and presentation are impressive, but EA Sports has still left some fans unsatisfied with Madden 25.
What Is Still Wrong With Madden 25?
In recent years there have been clear bugs, glitches, etc, and fans are not pleased. The biggest complaint would be the Defense/Tackling, with this being an issue in College Football 25, EA Sports seems to not be able to get this right. A big problem for fans seems to be the User Interface, the experience of truly feeling like you’re in the game is a huge aspect of the game.
As I stated before the presentation is impressive but there are still things that are lacking in that area. The injury “report” is very short and not realistic which may be due to fans wanting a faster experience, nonetheless, that is the reason for arcade mode but for fans wanting a more realistic experience, this is something that must be fixed.
Madden 25 seems to be very flexible on how much ratings actually matter, obviously, Football is a team sport but the lack of individuality in the game is evident when playing. Clunky mechanics and gameplay have been expected from Madden games in the past and are still something to expect from this year’s installment.
Conclusion
Any video game especially a sports video game is expected to have problems and not please every fan, but Madden 25 is ultimately one of the best games of the series. The good changes outweigh the bad and with the release of College Football 25, EA Sports had a good platform to work off for Madden as well. If Madden 26 is as big of an improvement as Madden 24 to 25 then fans have a lot to look forward to.
A lot like 2K Sports has a monopoly on Basketball games, EA Sports has a monopoly on Football games causing the two companies to become lazier in developing these games. Madden 25 is far from perfect but is a realistic and fun Football game to play by yourself or with friends, with Football season starting this Thursday the Madden community is bound to grow exponentially soon. Many fans think that because of the release of College Football 25 fewer people will play Madden, but with the already huge success of the game, it would make sense for more players to flock to Madden 25.
