1.3 is close to coming out for Zenless Zone Zero. Caesar and Burnice came crashing as Proxies’ agents and into their wallets. With 1.3 being near, miHoyo has released their new agents for the 1.3 banners. Here we will go over the given banners and who will arrive with them, expanding the world with new life.
Zenless Zone Zero Banners
If you don’t follow Zenless Zone Zero or miHoyo on X or YouTube, they released Agent Records of the two new Agents. These records have been seen to only show off S-Ranks. Yanagi, an S-Rank Electric Anomaly has been shown off, introduced as the head deputy of the Hollow Special Operations Section 6. As a fellow player of Zenless Zone Zero, I was hoping for Miyabi, Yanagi’s superior, to come with her in phase 2 of the banner but sadly that isn’t the case.
Yanagi is known to have powerful abilities that would undoubtedly make her a pull for most people. The fact that she is another anomaly would probably be a skip for others seeing as how we have had both Jane and Burnice in the previous banners. Along with Yanagi, leaks say Nicole Demara and Anton Ivanov will be following beside her.
Phase 2 will bring Lighter, an S-Rank Fire Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon. If you have been playing 1.2, you will recognize him from the group that has Caesar and Burnice, his cool attitude would give anyone the right to pull him if they wanted. The fact he is dropping as a Stun will make it more worth it. Lighter likes to use his overwhelming force to get past his problems, so it would make sense he is a Stun Agent. Looking at his kit, he will build Morale as he and his teammates deal damage.
Once he hits a maximum hit light attacks will hit harder and provide more stun. In the Moral Eruption state, when a light punch or a jab combo hits an enemy, the target’s Ice and Fire DMG resistance is reduced by 15% for 30 seconds. He is a must-pull for any Fire or Ice build. Lighter being a Stun will be nice in the sea of DPS and Anomaly. Leaks says Ben Bigger and Corin Wickes will be arriving with Lighter. Since Lucy and Piper were already dropping previously it’s safe to say the leaks might be right, but as always take it with a grain of salt.
Conclusion
At the moment, Burnice is out with her Agent story “A Stroke of Luck.” Along with her engine and Lucy. If you were waiting for Miyabi to drop, unfortunately will be a bit longer. So at the moment, it will be time to farm for polychromes and finish any Agents you need to level up to prepare for any new characters to drop, or if you intend to pull for Yanagi or Lighter, now will be a perfect time to start saving up if you haven’t been already.
