Follow the figure into the forest until you reach the Shadow Guy’s footsteps near a bush.

- Follow the Footsteps: After the cutscene, follow the footprints left by the Shadow Guy through the forest.
- Find the Bush: The footprints lead to a bush near the playground, just north of Pelican Town.

Keep doing the above activities over and over to give yourself a better shot at finding it.
Deciphering Secret Note 19
The blue house depicted in Secret Note 19 is 1 Willow Lane, home to Jodi, Sam, Kent, and Vincent. You’ll want to start right in front of the door to this house and follow the arrows shown in the note. It’s important to understand, you will not be moving one square in the specified direction. Instead, you will travel in the direction the arrow is pointing until you encounter an obstacle like a bush, tree, or bench. Follow this sequence:

When you get to the end destination, which will be behind Mayor Lewis’ house, don’t move and press the interact button.
Rewards from Secret Note 19
You’ll be rewarded with a statue of Lewis made out of solid gold. It’s very funny and definitely unexpected for players who don’t know what they’re in for. You can place it wherever you want, but you can get a special interaction if you put it somewhere in town where a villager will not walk through it. If you choose to do this, the statue will be replaced with a rotten plant the next and you’ll get a letter in the mail from Mayor Lewis.
The statue will still be around even after Mayor Lewis takes it back. After you get the letter in the mail, the statue has a 90% chance of appearing in Lewis’ bedroom and a 10% chance of appearing in Marnie’s bedroom. This is one of the most straightforward methods of getting one of the funniest interactions the developers had the foresight to include in the game. Keeping the statue is an added bonus.
