Amber Alert: Solve The Desperate Case Before It’s Too Late

Amber Alert

You’ve got an Amber alert, and that’s gonna need all hands on deck to solve this case, so throw yourself out of that police car and get your ass in gear there’s a child and a cult and a- whoa okay what the heck are these people dressed up as?!  In the world of Amber Alert, you take on the role of a policeman responding to a late-night call about a missing person’s case. On getting to the neighbor, desolate and cold, you find out there’s a bit more trouble than you anticipated. And they’re well aware you’ve arrived.

What’s The Game Plan, Boss?

Amber Alert is a game that is hard to play, and it is marketed as such, with the developers straight up saying that if you do not want to feel underpowered and unfamiliar with what is happening around you, then this is not the game for you. You are made to die. A lot. So, if you have a losing-is-fun mentality, then this body cam point-of-view horror game is probably right up your alley. The game features fast-paced combat and quick thinking skills to hit quick time events triggered by people in the shadows hoping to ambush you. Are you quick enough?

High Replayability

Each time you reload the game, there’s a completely new setup just around the bend for you to learn and overcome, different problems, different victims to save, and even harder.. different layouts to learn. You will never know what items you’ll have on hand to help you, or where your enemies are. This slasher horror pushes the limits on what your heart can take, with the low lighting dread building up in your chest. Are you smarter than the cult you’re fighting?

Final Thoughts

The game is decent for the price it’s offering. It’s worth messing around with just for a bit of intense time, a quick heartstopper. It’s not as scary, I found, as the developers may have hoped it to be, suffering the fate of many “tryhard” games where the payoff isn’t really worth the trouble of trying to even play it. The game isn’t cool just because it’s hard, people. Nonetheless, it gets the job done, especially when you’re just starting and learning it- so  Amber Alert is worth the click.
