The game has launched a fresh update, enhancing the gameplay but also fixing critical bugs that have been annoying players for months. It introduces bug fixes, weapon adjustments, and more to enhance your gaming experience. The developers of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone have remained dedicated to refining the games, and with the huge content rolled out in Season 2 Reloaded, you can look forward to more exhilarating interactions.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Patch Notes
As we approach Season 3 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, almost all the content for Season 2 Reloaded has been released. It brings in the highly-anticipated crossover with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, introducing fresh game modes, Operators, and an Event Pass with rewards. Furthermore, the update also caters to issues from past patches and brings adjustments to gameplay mechanics along with new weapons. These updates might also pave the way for Season 3, ensuring a robust gameplay foundation for both titles, especially with the anticipated return of Verdansk to Warzone and new content for Multiplayer and Zombies.
This second March 2025 update modifies ammunition mechanics and camo challenges in the game’s Multiplayer and Zombies modes. Also, it reintroduces several changes that were meant to be part of the March 3 update. Meanwhile, Warzone also received an update introducing balance changes to select weapons from Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 and updates to the recently added Sawblade launcher from Season 2 Reloaded.
The patch extends the TMNT Event Pass until March 20 at 10 AM PT, giving you extra time to unlock all the Turtles-themed rewards. In addition, the game has introduced a minor update for the Zombies mode. The update rectifies issues with The Guardian, the final boss of Citadelle des Morts, and bugs affecting LMGs equipped with the Belt Fed Magazine attachment. Here are the complete patch notes.
Patch Notes
TMNT Event
- Adjusted the end date to March 20th at 10 AM PT.
Weapons: Multiplayer & Zombies
D1.3 Sector
Our initial design for the D1.3 Sector Ricochet Blades revolved around quickly launching many high-speed blades, meant to perform best blind firing into enclosed spaces. We have been following your feedback and agree that, in practice, the use cases for this ammo type are too low. The Ricochet Blades will now do 100 damage to enable one-hit kills, and to compensate we are lowering the fire rate and projectile speed. We think the popularity of this ammo type will see some new interest with these changes and look forward to seeing more of your cross-map killcams in MP.

Critical Update
The update comes at a critical time. Recently, there was a drop in the player count, largely due to the issues in the game. With this update, the developers fix these problems and prepare for the next major content drop. The upcoming seasonal update, featuring the return of Verdansk and potential nostalgic content from the original game, could be the moment many gamers return. What do you think of the changes?
