Destiny 2 The Final Shape expansion launched with many exciting new weapons. This expansion also featured a new destination called The Pale Heart of the Traveler. It is one of the most ambitious destinations and expansion that Bungie has ever created. It features brand new activities, cosmetics, armor set for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans as well as eight new weapons. These weapons come with their Origin Trait called Dealer’s Choice. It allows final blows with the weapons to generate Super energy. The effect of this Origin Trait is further improved when you use other weapons from this set.
Someday Overview
Someday is a Precision Frame Shotgun which has Kinetic affinity. This archetype of Shotguns is the most desirable in PvE as well as The Crucible. Thanks to the pellet spread that this archetype gets it is accurate and performs well. Someday also features interesting perk choices for both PvE and PvP.
In the left column, we have the options of Elemental Capacitor, Lead from Gold, Loose Change, Threat Detector, Dual Loader, Strategist, and Threat Remover. In the right column, we have the perk options of Cascade Point, Recombination, Vorpal Weapon, Barrel Constrictor, Collective Action, Opening Shot, and Swashbuckler.
Someday PvE God Roll
For PvE, the stats distribution does not matter much and players should go for a well-rounded stat distribution. In the left column, Lead from Gold is the best utility perk which allows Heavy ammo pickups to grant ammo for this weapon too. It pairs well especially when a player is running double Special ammo weapons.
In the right column, two perks stand out for dealing high damage. Recombination allows the weapon to get significantly more damage for one shot when you deal damage with your other elemental weapons. It is extremely good for quick burst DPS. Other than that, Cascade Point, greatly increases the fire rate of the weapon when you get final blows or Precision hits with another weapon.
Someday PvP God Roll
For The Crucible, players want to boost Range as high as possible. Arrowhead Brake as Barrel option, Accurized Rounds as Magazine option, and a Range masterwork are the best for this. In the right column, Opening Shot exists which is simply the best perk option for Shotguns and players do not even need to look at other options.
In the left column, there are two perks that players must consider. If a player uses Arc super or Arc subclass in The Crucible, they must use Elemental Capacitor in the left column. This perk with an Arc super will allow the weapon to have 100 Handling making the Shotgun feel fast and accurate. Threat Detector exists as a generally good perk option providing extra Stability and Handling when enemies are near.
Conclusion
Someday is an amazing Precision Frame Shotgun that performs exceptionally well in both PvE and PvP. It has some really good burst DPS options for PvE like Recombination and Cascade Point which pair well with Lead from Gold. In The Crucible, it has the best possible perk of Opening Shot which with Elemental Capacitor on Arc makes it one of the best weapons for PvP.
