Destiny 2: Vantage Point God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 Vantage Point

Destiny 2 released a brand-new Episode called Revenant during The Final Shape. This Episode launched with a new set of weapons. During Act 1, there are five seasonal weapons and more will be launched in the later Acts. Vantage Point is a new weapon and is a Pulse Rifle.

All these weapons including this Pulse Rifle come with the Origin Trait called Dark Ether Reaper. This trait allows the final blows with the weapon to spawn Dark Ether Charges. These Charges can be shot at or collected and will refill the weapon’s magazine from reserves potentially overflowing them.

Vantage Point is an Adaptive Frame Pulse Rifle that has Arc affinity. Adaptive Frame Pulse Rifles are decent in both PvE and PvP. They have a relaxed time to kill making them a good dueling option in PvE. This weapon comes with a lot of new perks that make it a decent choice in both sandboxes. The Origin Trait also synergizes well with this weapon.

This Pulse Rifle has 14 perk options. In the left column, players have Deconstruct, To the Pain, Eddy Current, Keep Away, Stats for All, Lone Wolf, and Closing Time. In the right column, players have the choice of One for All, High Impact Reserves, Desperado, Focused Fury, Swashbuckler, Headseeker, and Jolting Feedback.

PvE God Roll

For PvE, players want to boost the Reload Speed of Vantage Point. Players must use Corkscrew Rifling, Flared Magwell, and a Reload Speed Masterwork. In the left column, Stats for All is without a doubt the best option. It activates when players shoot three enemy combatants within a short time. Upon activating, this weapon gets bonus Range, Stability, Handling, and Reload Speed.

In the right column, One for All synergizes well with Stats for All. One for All has the same condition and provides a 35 percent damage boost upon activation. Another good perk is Jolting Feedback. It is a brand-new perk that allows the weapon to apply a Jolt on a target when damaging a target. It does not have to be the same target and is a great perk to have especially if players are looking for subclass synergy.

PvP God Roll

For The Crucible, players want to boost the Range of Vantage Point as high as possible. This can be done by using Hammer Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, and a Range Masterwork. In the left column, Keep Away is a great perk for Pulse Rifle. It provides a boost to Aim Assist and Range when there are no enemies nearby. Lone Wolf is another new perk and provides the weapon with extra Aim Assist and Range.

In the right column, Desperado and Swashbuckler are nice perks to have but are greatly overshadowed by Headseeker. This perk is the best perk for Pulse Rifle in PvP. It provides a weapon with extra damage and Aim Assistance if players land a body shot. This makes landing precision shots much easier and gives a relaxed time to kill. It is one of the best dueling perks which will make Vantage Point a great dueling tool.
