It is reported that China will not release Switch 2 on day one as expected. The gaming industry is having to deal with the political climate of tariffs between many countries around the world. Say this in your mind or out loud in the voice of Oprah: “You get a tariff, and you get a tariff, and you get a tariff too!” While that has become a known saying with positive and funny intentions, the delays of Switch 2 are nothing positive or funny to think about. Due to the ongoing tariff war, it could be harder than normal to import the consoles around the world and meet the demand of the Nintendo fandom.

Hopefully, this does not become so detrimental that Nintendo cannot recover from it.
